my catapult fever has not stopped yet one thing PGI got rite

now iv been leveling up my jester and showing every one my moves



so any of you guys been bistin a groove in your jesters

I've been thinking about buying a K2 to master.. but that means I'd have to master two other Cats..

ugh.. LRMs or SRMs.. I'm not a fan of either..

Catapults would be SO much more fun with MRM40s.

and try a srm brawling build they are quite fun ;p

I tried 300XL with LPL+ML vomit with my Jester but was having a hard time. Then I switched to 350XL with 6 MPL and started doing much better. I love my speedy Jester.

Yeah, the Jester is one of those battlemechs that gets exponentially more survivable the faster it moves. The difference between 80 kph and 90 kph is staggering.

between 90 kph and 95 kph is staggering.

going slow in that thing is bad its not like the other catapults

got to go max engine and give that thing some boogie 95kph is were its at

I like my Jester quite a bit. Been running it with 2 LPLasers and 4 MLasers. Its quick, effective, and fun.

I've been meaning to try twin ER-PPC again since they shaved 1 heat off of them. It's possible to cram 20 double heat sinks in, but no more unless you want to drop endosteel or go to a standard engine:

Of course without projectile speed quirks, it's more like a hadouken launcher.

They arent better though, which is why you are getting asked WTFmate?

IS Smalls arent good hence most builds not using them. GO with 2 more meds and you will be unstoppable.

You can run catapults with no LRMs at all but how you arent a fan of SRM's is beyond me sir. They wreck faces....and Cat's a missile mech for the most part.

I run my K2 with Gauss and 3 Er large, Jester with 2 LPL and 4 meds and the A1 (i think) with 6 ASRM's 6's and all the ammo.
Only one runs LRMs on one C1(i might be confusing these) with 2 LRM 15 with Art, 3 meds and a TAG. None of them are bad mechs....

I've been running the Jester since it came out (for obvious reasons) and my current build is XL325 with 2LL and 4MLP. Seems to work fine and survives better since the rescale.

btw - my name came long before the Jester was released.
